Rusty is a successful young architect. He has everything he thinks he wants, a really nice guy who loves him, a successful business with lots of wealthy clients and a supportive and driven partner at work. But when his boyfriend goes out of town on a business trip and Rusty’s in a liquor store looking for some wine after a disatrous workday he’s seduced by a very sexy, mysterious drifter named Denny. Denny leads Rusty down a very different kind of path, a different kind of life than he’s used to--from suit and tie to skin and sheets--and turns him into the kind of guy who doesn’t give a damn about the kind of success he thought he wanted anymore. Denny shows Rusty that the kind of world he thought he wanted isn’t much of a world, and Rusty has to decide how he wants to live the rest of his life.
